An Exo-Suit is a technological shell that encases a person. Offering them superior protection and increased abilities. Technology existing today can be used to great effect when properly integrated with each other. I'm talking about using an Exoskeleton as a blank canvas that any man or woman can step into. Immediately gain a protective second skin, that can be outfitted with EXISTING electronics and gear, specific to their needs.
An example would be a firefighter. They already wear suits, nomex fabric that protects them from the dangerous environment they go into, to protect us. When they step into my exoskeleton, I want them to immediately gain a high level of resistance to heat, falling debris, and airborne chemical agents. This can be done by assembling a full body exoskeleton that when sealed, is air tight. It will be relatively light, and most importantly a blank canvas. Meaning that the firefighter will be able to attach equipment specific to their needs directly onto the suit they are wearing. Communications gear, heat sensors, high powered searchlights, even self contained water cannons built into the arms. This is the vision I have. A suit that can be outfitted with equipment specific to the wearer's needs.
My main goal is to produce an Exoskeleton with enough capability and reliability to be produced and used in search and rescue disaster situations world-wide. I want to do this to benefit and protect those that protect us. I want to help save lives.
I believe that protecting others is one of the most basic human instincts inside of us. I also believe that it is fading in society today. Using something as fantastic as Exo-Suits, I know that I can inspire people to do good, and spur a trend of watching out for each other. We all live on the same planet. We’re hurtling through space together on a rock, and maybe we should hold onto each other a little bit tighter!!
AEGIS is the latin word for shield. It stands for an impenetrable defense. A protector. To me, AEGIS is being strong enough and kind enough to lend a hand to others. And showing them that they can do it too. This website, AegisAvenger.com is about creating technology that can benefit, advance, and bring humanity together. It’s about everyone. It’s about what we can do together.
