Electroluminescent wire works by covering a thin copper wire with phosphor and applying 120 volts to it. The reaction causes it to glow! It is lightweight, battery powered, cool to the touch and a great eye-catcher!!

Below is an example of a suit in the "medium" price range. Advanced suits covered in 100s of feet of wire with strobe and dimming controls can cost over $1,000!!



EL wire is ideal for costumes because of its flexibility and nice visual qualities. It produces 360 degrees of light, and is continuous, much like an etch-a-sketch line!

My EL suits are never standard. Each one is unique! Many colors are possible.

I can make any pattern you like. Prices vary as I charge by the footage of EL wire needed, and also the complexity of the pattern!!
